Test the SMTP Settings

Prerequisites

  • An administrator account for the site. Administrators have full permissions to the specific site.

Steps

  1. Go to Persona Bar > Settings > Servers.

  2. Go to the Server Settings tab, and then the SMTP Server subtab.
    Server Settings > SMTP Server
  3. Choose the settings to test.

    SMTP Server Mode

    • Global. Tests the SMTP settings for all sites in the installation.
    • The name of the current site. Tests the SMTP settings for the current site.
  4. (Optional) Click/Tap Test SMTP Settings to confirm that you can connect to the SMTP server with the specified settings.
