Configure Page/File Versioning for a Site

Prerequisites

  • A host / super user account. Hosts have full permissions to all sites in the DNN instance.

Steps

  1. Go to Persona Bar > Settings > Site Settings.

  2. Go to the Site Behavior tab, and then the More subtab.

  3. Configure the Versioning options for pages and for files/assets.

    Field Description

    Enable Page Versioning
    Enable File Versioning

    If enabled (On), the most recent versions of versioning-enabled page/file/asset are stored, up to the specified maximum number of versions.

    Maximum Number of Page Versions Kept
    Maximum Number of File Versions Kept

    		 The maximum number of versions stored. For pages, this value must be from 1 to 20. For files/assets, this value must be from 5 to 25.
