The question basically sums its up.

In this post, a member says that DNN 8 will be moving away from ascx skinning. Does this mean that .ascx skins will no longer work in DNN 8? I'm trying to create a skin that won't become legacy (or use deprecated methods) once I upgrade my platform from 7 to 8. Any comments on this is sure to give me some insight on what to do.
