My team is building a training portal for the U.S. Air Force that will be used in every Military Treatment Facility (hospitals) in the world. The Beta site looks and performs great using IE 10 or later. However, after recently upgrading from DNN 6 to DNN 7.2.2, we noticed the Control Panel/Control Bar now freezes up anytime you hover over it using IE 8.0. Needless to say, this is a deal killer! Unfortunately, IE 8 is the standard 'image' installed on all computers operating on the U.S. Air Force medical network. 1) What version of IE does DNN 7.2.2 support? 2) Is there a fix/work around that might resolve this for our this government wide site? background I found: In IE8 the method getBoundingClientRect() returns left, right, top, and bottom properties. In IE10, they introduced the width properties for all IE browsers which result in an error in IE8.3) Are there any plans to address this issue in upcoming releases? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Keith Hutchinson - Senior Software Designer | STS - Air Force Surgeon General's Office
