My client's web site has not been upgraded since DNN 7.03; I am attempting to upgrade it to DNN 8. Every time I've tried, it gets to 52% and then an error occurs when it attempts to install DNNCE_GoogleAnalytics_08.00.00_Install.

I unblocked the upgrade package before extracting it.

I have made sure that the App Pool user has Full Control permissions to all files and folders in the site assets. The last time I attempted the upgrade, I even re-applied these permissions after copying over the upgrade package.

I made sure there were no old ZIP files in my Install folder before copying the upgrade files over. I have tried deleting the entire contents of the Install folder before copying the upgrade files over.

I tried removing DNNCE_GoogleAnalytics_08.00.00_Install from the Install folder after copying the upgrade files over, before running the upgrade wizard. When I did that, it got as far as 54%, then the same type of error occurred on the DNNCE_Languages_08.00.00_Install file.

At my wit's end here... I don't know what else to do.
