Running several DNN sites with the oldest being 6.1.3 and the newest 7.0.1 im having the same issue with all of them; The serchworditem issue is haunting me, i have to manually go and trucate and reindex all the sites, oterwise the db grows until the hosting service shuts down the site.

I have clients with webshops and those fail too when the db grows that much and theyre complaining theyre losing orders over it, customers email them and say their shop doesnt work and that theyve taken business elsewhere. :-(

I posted a few months ago about the issue, but apparently no one knows about any solution for it or they just dont wanna share it.

So this time ill ask another question, which is how can I set up a scheduled task in DNN thatll truncate and reindex?

Because that way I can just put it in every installation and have it run every two weeks or so, instead of manually doing it each time.
