I'm working on a DNN 7.1.2 site that's showing some strange search behavior.

When entering a search string, typing a string of 3 or more characters produces NO results.  You can start typing and search results appear on entering the 2nd character.  But, the second you enter a 3rd (or more) characters, immediately "no results" appears.

Any ideas on how to fix this?  (I've tried reindexing, and that doesn't change the behavior
