Is there a way to adapt the content of a module zip file, before installing it, for having multiple installations / instances in the DesktopModule folder?

I need different module variations on the level of the local resources, why I want to install the ‘same’ module multiple times in different subfolders:

DesktopModules/ModuleVariation1
DesktopModules/ModuleVariation2
DesktopModules/ModuleVariation3
