Currently using 7.4.2

Admin>site Setting>User Account

Requires Unique Email: False

Password Format: Hashed

Password Retrieval Enabled: False

I need to be able to let users (non-host) recover PWs.

I register each user, so I can control unique email (company emails are already handled that way)

If I change all three settings to True, Plain and True, will this work?

I'm hosted at Managed and last night I just changed the Retrieval and it more or less killed the site.

Its fixed back to above. I tried to research this question here, which lead me to this question, since I didn't find a clear specific answer.
