Hi!
I'm quite new to DNN and I developed a website in english and deutsch.
I added a footer for the english version and checked it to be displayed on all pages and one for the german pages.
Now when I add a new page and translate it using the localization settings, on the deutsch page I get 2 footers, the english one and also the deutsch one.
In order to avoid this, whenver I add an english page and want to translate it to deutsch, I go to homepage, edit the footer module and uncheck the option to show it on all pages, I do the same on the deutsch side, then go back to english and translate the page. Then I go back to the homepage, edit the footer and display it back on all pages. And I do the same on the deutsch side.
I don't think it's a good idea to deactivate the footer on subpages on a live website in order to translate a page.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I hope you can help.
Thank you.
