I am having a few issues since this is the first time I am moving from shared hosting which isn't going to work any more for my large websites to a Virtual Private Server on a 2012 Microsoft server with IIS 8.

The Microsoft documentation on setting up a server and migrating DNN is HORRIBLE. I finally figured out how to implement the DNS and change the server name and start the web deploy after setting up a new site in IIS 8. I started the Web Deploy for DNN 7 on IIS and the error popped up with connecting to the express database that it just set up. (First, I have found that when implementing the express addition it only allows 1 cpu to run... Is this true?.. if so This is also an issue.. but I guess I need to get the site running before I can tackle this one) Anyway, when I get this error it cant set up the DNN setup so I don't know how to proceed. I am making a dummy DNN site so that I can migrate my site from my shared hosting after the DNN dummy site is set up. Am I doing this correctly? How do I fix the error with the database? Please explain this like I am a 3 year old...lol. I am not completely a newbie but I am just trying to learn the new Microsoft Server as quick as I can since I have clients that are waiting to be transferred to the new system. PLEASE HELP. Trying to set this up ASAP so I can get back to building dnn websites and marketing.
