It would be nice to be able to let the user create the types through an admin, they can create their templates also at that point.  Then the module developers simply can provide the user a drop-down to let the user select the journal types they want to use for different actions.  For example you might have voting in an Article module and a Contest module.  One user may want to use the same journal type, another user may want to use different journal types.  It just seems like it's something best done in DNN admin instead of us having to create a mini Journal Type admin in our modules.  Looks great!
