Client has DNN 6 on SQL 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2. When both are on the same physical server it works fine. In production they use a security by absurdity model where they keep web servers and database servers on separate domains, in separate realms. Now I get the install wizard because IIS can't connect to MSSQL.
What SQL Server protocols are required in this case in SQL Server Configuration Manager? Currently only TCP/IP is enabled.
