Hi,

I am planning to create my new website using DotNetNuke, and will add my own modules to it by writing them in .NET.

I have downloaded - 

DotNetNuke_Community_06.01.04_Install.zip, and DotNetNuke_Community_06.01.04_Source.zip

I have created a new database in my SQL Server 2008 R2.

Following are the things I wish to know beforehand:

1) Will it be fine, if I install from Source?

2) After installation, I want to start creating my site, should I create a new solution and copy DNN source there, or is it recommended to continue developing in that source code folder only? In that case, what if I want to create one more website using DNN?

3) Once after installation, and attaching it with a new database (rather than, the one provided with DNN source), is it safe to delete the database from "App_Data" folder?

4) How can I attach different database to different websites while development in DNN?

Answers of my above questions will give me fair idea of from where to begin developing websites using DNN.

Any help on this much appreciated.
