I'm developing a module. I want to have a setting that is applied to all instances of the module. I don't want to create a custom table for this; I'd prefer to use DNN's built-in tables.
Some people are saving it as a setting of "Site Settings" module (which depends on the fact that there is only one instance of "Site Settings" module for the whole portal). Is it safe to go this way or there are better ways?
