I have tried several solutions listed to manually add an entry to the DB for a regex match to exclude the rewrite of utm codes by the DNNFriendlyURL coding (set to advanced) and keep them as query-string variables. 
Notably the Bruce Chapman article at:

I have added the DB table entry he recommends and verified that it inserted properly into the Database.  I reset the memory space and tried a test, manually entering 
Http://siteurl.com/?utm_source=Test adn the URL rewrites to http://siteurl.com/Home/utm_source/Test

we are getting ready to launch several large campaigns for this particular customer and i need to get this resolved so that I can leverage their analytics to report on the success of this marketing.
