I upgrade my existing site using DNN version 7.0 to DNN version 7.2.1

However after the upgrade the site is consuming more memory, about 200 MB more.

I have upgraded the site as is without any changes.

Is it a known fact that 7.2 version requires more memory?

What are the parts of version 7.2 that requirement more memory? If certain modules etc. are newly introduced in 7.2 and are optional can I remove these?

I did see a similar problem reported for DNN version 7.1

The problem with more memory usage seems to have started from version 7.1

Any thoughts on why the memory usage has increased?
