I have a site with a term much like "Wi-Fi" that doesn't yield any results in search, I assume this is because this would be seen as two words both under 3 letters in length. Pages which include the text "Wi-Fi" also include somewhere it's full term "Wireless Fidelity"

My understanding is adding a Synonym with tags "Wi-Fi, Wireless Fidelity" and re-indexing the site should mean when I search for "Wi-Fi" that the search will include results for "Wireless Fidelity" - But this doesn't happen.

Am I missing something? Have I got something wrong?
