Hi Everyone

I'm planning a setup of multiple portals small Information portals using DNN, I'm looking for ease of Administration.

I was thinking about using Child and Parent portals structure sharing the same single DNN Installation and Database so I could share the same modules on an "N" number of independent sites.

I'm worried about the load this could incur on IIS and SQL when that number of sites increase over time and are in use.

The second option would be to create a single installation for each site, but that would defeat the purpose of having everything centralized the same installation, upgrading all sites with a single upgrade on the parent portal and all sites benefiting from it, only 1 database to maintain, etc.

Does anyone have any experience with an installation with multiple portals running in a single DNN environment that could share your experiences?

Thanks!
