We are evaluating CMS/workflow (.net based) solutions for the following capabilities. We want to be able to build/manage internal portals/pages by non technical personnel, but in addition we want to grant permissions to external customers to work with their own secured sub sections of the site, with some shared workflows between our externally logging in customers and our internal staff. For instance, when we acquire a customer , we want to auto generated a templated portal for them to log in to, fill out some information, and have that information generate workflows on internal facing portions of the site. And potentially have some internal actions generate workflow items for the customers as well. All other standard CMS features apply. Is this case possible with DNN. Not just possible though tons of customization/custom programming, but possible out of the box? Security model is obviously a big portions of this. Can we have AD login for internal users but form based for customers?
Can could not locate topics or documentation confirming this feature set available/configuration support.
We are also keenly interested in .NET API's /web service API's provided to integrate with DNN.
