I'm trying to update a DNN Platform 8.0 site to Evoq Content 8.1. When I'm trying to allocate the files of the Update Package in the root site folder to replace previous files, I'm getting several reference issues. Looks like the assemblies in the upgrade package does not match the references required. And none of these references are from 3rd party modules.

when I try to replace the assemblies with the backed up version, i get the following error: The type or namespace name 'SiteLog' does not exist in the namespace 'DotNetNuke.Services.Log' (are you missing an assembly reference?). However, this assembly was removed from the current versions of DNN (in my functional installation this assembly doesn,t exist).

Does someone know what could be happening? What can I be doing wrong? I can't find any detailed manual or support to the upgrade process.
