Hi,

I use the DNN installation wizzard to start with DNN. Before I had already done everything I thought to be required to get connected to the DNN database: I created a database on my SQLServer local host named "DotNetNuke", created a new user, connected him with the database and granted him the required permissions.

The wizzard proceeds - after having confirmed that I have all necessary access permissions to the DefaultAppPool - up to the point where it tries to connect to the DNN-db. There appears a connection error: "SQL Login failed":

Obviously an authentication problem, although - previously having set the access mode to "SQLServer authorization" - I  indicated the correct db name and the chosen password in that wizzard window. I tried several things, but nothing works. Does anybody have a clue how to proceed here?
