Can DNN exist on the same server as a bespoke application?

I have a bespoke application that runs under one domain and I need to create another website using DNN but I am worried that on install of DNN it may change iis7 settings or file settings etc.

So when I install DNN, will it install and run without affecting anything else on my server, i.e. my bespoke application?
