I have a development instance of dnn 7.1 and love the new 404 handling but I have a production project that needs the same thing however we can not move to from 7.0.6 to 7.1 yet. I have done the standard approach of adding my 404 redirect in web.config 'customError' but read in a iFinity blog that this is not a very sound solution for SEO reasons as well as the fact it only seems to work when the page name has the .aspx extension in the url (not needed/used in dnn 7x.) So i was hoping someone might be able to share a good approach.
