This is the message I'm getting when logged in as a user with Registered Users role enabled, and clicking on the link that is supposed to open the pdf file in a new window:

------------------------------------------------------------------
You Do Not Have Permission To View The Requested File
------------------------------------------------------------------

I can get the file link to work fine while I'm logged in as host user.

I'm using DNN 4.3.3

Page permissions are set to be seen by Registered users, module inherits permissions from the page. Tried to change permissions to all users for module first, then for the page, and it still gives me the same error when logged in as a registered user.

I guess I can go with text/html module and do my links, but it would have been nice to have link module...

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Waldis

You need to go into file manager, and set view rights for "registered users" for the folder that the file is stored in.
