I've created a custom profile property called County and it is a list.  All the settings on the localization page will not update.  For example the Property Name, Property Help, Required Error Message...etc.  

I've followed other threads and found out the following files controls the property:

\DesktopModules\Admin\Security\App_LocalResources\Profile.ascx.resx

I manually added the following line: ProfileProperties_County.Text   Value = County:

and it would work.  But I am not sure how to fix the site setting page so it will automatically update the value to Profile.ascx.resx

Did I mess up somehow on the installation?  Everything is pretty out of the box.

I've solved it.  Turns out during the installation process, I forgot to give my site folder the correct access so it couldn't write to that folder.  Adding the correct permission to the root folder fixed this and other problems as well.
