Any module have a own css file named module.css you can find in the module Folder.

So now that I've more accurately confirmed that I have DNNForums  v5.0.3 -  I do not see a "module.css" file anywhere in the DesktopModules/Forum directory.

Changing the toolbar is not allowed on DNNsoftware.com.

Could you clarify this?  Did you mean DNNSoftware.com - as in this site?  Or did you mean that I cannot change the style of the toolbar in the old DNNForums module?

Have a look here:  http://www.dnnsoftware.com/DesktopMod.... That is the stylesheet used at this site. Study the names of the styles and you will understand how to change the design. But before you spend a lot of time on that I suggest you switch to ActiveForums.

I think module.css is probably the wrong choice.  It's intended to allow the module author to provide bare minimum styling to make the module usable.  Styles in there can be overridden by the skin and the site.

The standard place to customise, for a particular site is portal.css.  Timo wrote about DNN styling here http://www.40fingers.net/WeblogsNews/...

Well you understand me, I mean this site or this Forum here.
