Hello, I installed the new 5.0.5 version of Active Directory authentication into my DNN site, and I am having some trouble with it. I created a child site and i was trying to add the same authentication that we have on the parent page which works as intended. Everything works and I get the all green ok message, except that the default domain field clears itself upon exiting the settings. So obviously this doesnt allow automatic authentication and requires us to log into that page with DOMAIN\Username. Is there anything I can try to fix this problem?

What version of DotNetNuke and what version of IIS/Server OS are you running so that I know what I need to test against? One way you might be able to fix it (until I can do some testing) is to open the PortalSettings table in SQL and check that the AD_DefaultDomain field has an entry for your portal instance.

Son of a !@#$% It looks like what I thought fixed the Subnet (auto-login) problem didn't actually fix it. Here's a work around.... Enter 127.0.0.1 in your Auto-login IP and save your settings. Then you should be able to remove that line and it should work fine.

I've uploaded a 05.00.06 release candidate to Codeplex. Give that version a shot and let me know (back up your database and website as a precaution).

Thanks for the assistance, I got the settings to stick. Now I cant seem to get it to auto login. I have checked and comapred all the settings I can think of between the new page I made and the original and they look to be the exact same, and the original page does auto login just fine, but I cant get the new page to attempt to auto login. Could I get pointed in the direction as to why this might be?
