Add New Parent Type Site function in 7.0.0 seems to be buggy.  I'm listing this here for feedback, and not in the bug tracking system because I cannot seem to find anything related to it.  I've added and removed test parent sites 3 times and have consistently had the following problems:

1) menu selections for the new parent site have the dnn directory duplicated:  for example, dnn is installed in a folder off my host root, call it /dnn - when the parent site is created, and I select (in ie. 10 and chrome Version 23.0.1271.97 m) a menu item like "Our Services" the properties reads "http://beta.example.com/dnn/OurServic..."  but on clicking get server error 404 resource cannot be found "Requested URL: /dnn/dnn/Default.aspx"  The administrative menu seems to be correct. I have tried using default Home Directory as well as customizing it to a named directory.

2) creating a new user for the parent site shows as being created in logs but does not exist as far as logging in - I always recieve a log in error with the new user.

Sadly I am hosting on Godaddy with 6 months left in a contract.  I don't know if these problems are related to the hosting - I do not think they are to blame here however.  Any ideas about what to do about this?
