That should have read "unless the login page in site settings is not set to None Specified."

Hi Paul, did you manage to rename your custom login page? The default login page is protected and you shouldn't be able to overwrite it, so renaming your custom login page should bring back the default login page, unless the home page in site settings is not set to None Specified.

I did not rename custom login page. I just went to "Pages" at top, and added a page called "Login", which it let me do. I then made 2 other pages "Agent Login" and "Merchant Login" as child pages to the Login Page, and I then disabled the parent "Login" page.

Yes, I understand that but have you tried to rename (via the database) the new (custom) login page you created? That may bring back the default login page although the login page in site settings may need resetting to None Specified.

Pingle is right, go to database, open tabs table for editing ("Edit top 200 entries"), edit tabname where tabname = "Login" and make sure your changes are saved. restart the application pool and browse your site to check whether you are able to login again.

Can you believe the fix was this simple? After reading a ton of forums, I found a thread from another site and user who had done the same thing, and this was the solution....
just add this after the .com in your domain.... /?ctl=login

Worked great. THanks for everyone's help here.
