Add my 2 pennies here

I can't use the google or facebook or twitter auth until they can associate with an existing account - its just too much to manage.

Can we please get this enhancement

Appreciate this is early days for this provider - but:

  1. Is this problem resolved in 7.00?
  2. Is there any way I can 'hack' this? One of my sites has over a 1,000 users...

regards,
Duncan

PS. Thought that 6.x.x was good...... can't wait for 7.00 !!       :)

Looking for the answer to this too - but I'm guessing that I'll just end up spending money for a solution that's not half-baked since appearances by knowledgeable people on the forums are few and far between (of course, I'll now get multiple canned e-mails trying to upsell me on the Professional Edition).  I can't believe anyone would think that allowing folks to register/login with an external provider without providing the capability to join to an existing user would be a good idea.  Typical developer mentality though - technology first, actual usability second.

Best bet is to change the login provider to RPX login provider.
