I have just upgraded from 6.1.1 to 6.2.0 and have an issue with profiles not displaying.

On the profile page 'Edit Profile' is available and works, but the entered profile information is not visible.

Also if a logged in user, goes to another users profile he is automatically redirected back to his own profile page.

The profile page works correctly (displaying information) for the superuser account.

Update - for new regsitered users the profile does display. The non-display issue appears to be only relevant to users which existed before the upgrade to 6.2.

On the profile not visible issue, I have been doing some more playing around and it appears certain characters in the biography stop it working.  For example:

Since graduating Ive spent over twenty five years working in electrical engineering.
  - this example works fine and profile displays

Since graduating I've spent over twenty five years working in electrical engineering.
 - this does not work and profile does not display (not the additional ' )

There are no event log entries with the above.

On the issue of a logged in user always being redirected the their own profile [when trying to get to someone elses], there is a event entry:

I'm running into the exact same issues.  I as well noticed that the sinqle quote breaks the user's profile (assuming because not escaping somewhere).  Also, when the user profile settings are edited the template box is blank blanking the module after a save.  Clicking the default template link and saving makes it work again.

The biggest issue however is the redirect to my profile no matter which user I click on in the member directory.

Thanks for looking into the issue.
