I need to completely remove Manufacturer, ModelNumber and ModelName from the DNN Store module because my store doesn't sell those types of products.

Then add ProductName.

Can I do this with a couple changes to the templates or do I need to edit all the source files?

Hi,
Could you tell me if the templates or if all the source files need changing to accomplish this task?

Thank You,

Hi,

It depends of what you mean by "remove completly"! If you don't want to display some fields in the catalog, then you can change everythings using the templating system. A template is just an HTML file with tokens, you can find detailled informations in the Templating Guide available at Codeplex. If you want to remove some fields from the Store Admin interface, you have to modify the source code.

Hi,
Yes I understand there are a couple of ways to accomplish this task. Is there a way to make Manufacturer and Model Number invisible in the search so users don't see it? Then I can just edit the local resource file to change Model Name to Product Name.

Thank You,
