I have had several customers purchase items successfully through my store...



www.DallasHighHorse.com   The music store and ticket sales catalogs arent working.





I will admit I have attempted to modify the templates in the store through MS Vistual Studio 2010 ultimate, and that is really when the errors started happening.  I'm sure I broke something, but see if you can get something different from my store.  I also added in twitter and facebook widgets, and dont know if that may affect the store's functionality.



However, last night, I got a call about an order that wouldnt go to paypal.  I remoted in to customer's PC and we were using IE 8 to go through the store.  Everything was working fine a week ago, now when I click confirm order on any PC, with both IE 8 & 9 and Safari, as well as on Win 7 phone and Iphone & Ipod I'm getting a 404 after you click confirm order in the store to go to paypal.







I did a repair install of store ver. 3.0 and no change, still "Page cannot be displayed" error.







Can anyone suggest anything?  I am selling presale tickets to a concert 6 days away and need this functionality up and running ASAP.  If necessary I will purchase 3rd party cart module, but would love to keep it as-is.  I am willing to pay to have someone fix it today.

Hey just got it working again. I turned off Gzip compression....Not sure how that co-incided. Will try to replicate and post again with results.

Also removed the Paypal payment provider under Host Settings

Definetely found resolution by removing GZip compression.  Under HOST-Settings.



I'm guessing that its due to the interactivity with paypal and not being able to handle the data passed between when compressed.  Hope this helps others.

 This effect had no bearing on the issues I was experiencing.  As I stated before, the problem was resolved by disabling GZip compression in Host-Site settings.
