hi
I know I'm not the 1st person that ask it but I searched and I didnt find the answer !

can I remove the line
 DotNetNuke® is copyright 2002-2006 by Perpetual Motion Interactive Systems Inc.
from my site based  on  dotnetnuke and if yes  how ?

Yes, it's not mandatory.

Open your skin's .ascx file in Notepad.  Scroll to the bottom, find and delete this:

<dnn:DOTNETNUKE runat="server" id="dnnDOTNETNUKE" />

There is a an easier way.  Under Site Settings/Other Settings, you can set the Copyright field so it says what you want it to say.  The document that is shown when the user clicks on it is generic and the company name is replaced with the site title.

Tanks but I couldn’t fined  skin's .ascx  at DotNetNuke 3.1.1 root folder and controls , I guess this skin as for DotNetNuke 4, can you direct me for DotNetNuke 3.1.1

it is recommended to use either host settings, unchecking "Show Copyright Credits?" (this will also hide the DNN version number from the window title) or in portal settings (advanced Settings / Other Settings) set the appropriate Copyright string.
