Hi to everyone!
I would say to you a little suggestion (for some members could be obviously..but i post it at all).
When yesterday and today i try to install DNN 4.0.3 with IIS and .NET Framework 2.0, i always be blocked by errors like "Directory could not be list in localhost" etc soon after the launch of the build-site command (CTRL+F5) in VWD.
My office's collegue say to me if I install before the IIS or .NET framework...and I have installed .NET framework before IIS...ERROR!!!!!! .NET Framework MUST BE installed after the installation of the IIS, because it modify some IIS'dll.
I hope that this suggestion help you!
Enjoy,
Cristina

This is a typical .NET issue and not related to DNN. Thank you for sharing your newfound information. For you and anyone else falling victim to this or any other .NET setup issues, I suggest you check out the asp.net forums. These should help with more generic .NET issues.
