Jim, it is very difficult to guess the error, if a number of changes had been made to the installation. you should try retrieving associated error details from the eventlog table in the database.

Here is the gist of the error(s) from the eventlog table. This entry is typical of the dozens of errors there that were generated when I was looking around the site while logged in. If you don't mind could you have a look at the following to see if there is something of note?

Do you think that there might some sort issue with the DNN installation?

I do not know how to fix the problem but it looks like .there is a module recompile being attempted:

What is TabID78 in the DNN app. and what lives on that tab?

I have quite a few of these errors listed in the eventlog table. Tab 78 is just one of the pages that I "tested" while logged in to see if I got any error(s). In fact, opening the "settings" option for any module on any page on the site kicks out an error. And all pages in the admin section cause an error.

I logged in as Host and went to the Admin / Event Viewer page and this is the error I get (I get basically the same error no matter which page under the Admin or Host tab I open) :
