5.2 was the first version introducing portallocalization, the missing PK should be added at least in DNN 5.6.0, where a number of database optimization has been integrated. Ignore the issue for now and perform your changes, make sure to restart the application (e.g. by saving web.config file) before retrying.

I got a reply back from the admin who had made the changes and now they report that they didn't make view/edit permission changes that particular module (instead they had edited an iFrame module that contained a login for a 3rd party app).

I downloaded and then reuploaded the web.config file to force DNN to restart and now the custom login module is back up and running (without editing the master DNN DB). So I guess there was some sort of hic-up in the current complile of the website that restarting DNN took care of.

I will keep an eye on it to see if it acts up again and try editing the DB as you suggested.

Thanks so much for your help!

Jim

Well, I got logged in, but now it appears that there is something wrong. None of the admin "pages" are available. I get an error: "An error has occurred. Error: Pages is currently unavailable." I get this sort of error for any of the admin pages. Also, when I select "Settings" for any module on the site I get: "An error has occurred. Error: is currently unavailable."

Any idea as to what might cause this sort of global issue on the site?

Thanks again.

Jim
