the structure i have is like this: localhost/dnn: dotnetnuke portal localhost/myapplication: web application Both are using the MS membership provider

are they using same version and machine key?

yes both applications are using same machine key.
Actualy authentication works well, but I am not able to read userdata of authentication cookie. It looks like DNN is using methode FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage, which overrides authentication ticket which I manualy set before. As I know workaround could be in methode Response.Redirect(). But as I predict DNN cals RedirectFromLoginPage.

Is there any other option??
