A new release has been posted at the codeplex platform. Ernst-Peter Tamminga had inspired me to add inline help for the settings UI and while I was in the UI section I added dropdown lists, checkboxes and numeric inputs where appropriate. The result: again even more easy to configure.

Enjoy:

Thanks for this update. I discovered some issues though. I couldn't select an image folder from the dropdownlist, because the dropdownlist goes out of screen and I cannot scroll through the dropdownlist. A possible solution is to also enable manual input for setting the folder paths, or enable to scroll the dropdownlists.

Another thing I noticed, in the Nuntio Content module, the Image Manager is missing. I don't know if this is related to the above problem.
Anyway, both are great modules. Also the Nuntio Content module is very easy to use, and visually very appealing. Great work!!

You can set something like "Images/" in the config file manually, see if that helps.

Hi
Just a quick "In case it helps post".
I had version 1.02 of the provider on my localhost site and had been playing around with toolbar modes and settings.

I updated to 1.04 as a quick test before doing this on a live site.
The install had no errors but when opening the image manager I got errors "Value cannot be null" relating to various parts of the rad editor.
As any changes I made using the wonderful config editor where not sticking/saving so my reasoning was that I had some minor config file problem relating to the upgrade.
I uninstalled as any other module (after setting the site to a different editor) and re installed 1.02. Same problem.
I uninstalled again but noticed that the potential problem ConfigFile and ToolsFile xml files did not get deleted.
After deleting these and reinstalling I had no issues with 1.02 and then 1.04.

I am not sure what went wrong - nothing in the event log viewer - it may have been that I had set toolbars to float or maybe some error or a bad value in the ConfigFile.

I am really just posting this in case it helps anyone else.
Also: We all know to back up sites before upgrading but its also a very good idea to back up module folders prior to an upgrade too (even on localhost which I of course did not do).

? - Do the config files survive a "Delete all installation files" for a reason?

Anyway Thanks again for a wonderful contribution to DNN. Good clear documentation too.

Hi Philipp,

Do you mean the web.config file?
I have the following line in my web.config file:
<add name="dnnWerk.RadEditorProvider" type="dnnWerk.Providers.RadEditorProvider.EditorProvider, dnnWerk.RadEditorProvider" providerPath="~/DesktopModules/dnnWerk.RadEditorProvider" />

I tried to add an attribute but as I have no Intellisense, it's hard to know exactely what attribute for the path to my images folder I should use.

What I'm also not sure of, is if the problem that I don't see the Image Manager in the RadEditor toolbar is related to the dnnWerk RadEditor provider or the Nuntio Content module.

Thanks for your help,
