If I have the community edition of DNN and purchase a module from SnowCovered.com does the granularity of the security settings of DNN supercede the security settings of the purchased module?

It is possible that the module developer used a different security model than the standard model, but unlikely. So that permissions you define on the page and module level should be effective within the module itself.

Thank you for your reply.  I guess what I am trying to figure out is if DNN Professional level granularity can be gained (within the scope of that module) when the module is incorperated into a DNN Community level site.   Without knowing all of the specific levels that are offered by community and professional, its kind of hard to phrase my question.  Lets say I purchase an event calendar and install it on community edition.  The module decription says that user can create events, edit events, etc.  Now lets say DNN Community does not offer page level granularity.  Does the event module then allow me to assign users or groups of users that can add or edit events, or would I need to upgrade to DNN Professional to utilize the full potential of the purchased module?
