I think you may need some clarification a couple of things to help you understand who to ask the questions to.

Since you're not 100% savvy with how this technology works, you need to go back to the person who created the website for you.  They will have an understanding of the situation to advise you on what to do.  If you went to a hosting company that creates 'websites on the go' eg... they have something they provide you, as part of their hosting solution, you will need to go to them.

This technology is provided at no charge for people to download and build websites from, but it doesn't mean that it's completely free.  People who are developers, designers, hosting companies etc, and people just llike you who are able to download and build their website using a combination of free and commercial solutions, but it depends what you've bought.

If you bought a hosting solution with cheap hosting and a free website, chances are that you got a free, vanilla version of this software and you're on your own to do what you need to get it working for you, and without looking at the site, perhaps someone found the empty site, saw the log in and then changed the passwords so you can't log in any more because you didn't change it as soon as the site was deployed.

I think you need to contact the people who provided you with the website in the first place because if you don't have the 'paid for version' you can't expect someone to fix the problem for nothing.. it would be like me getting a car from someone else up the road, maybe free, maybe cheap, having it break down, then going to your place of business and expecting you to fix it and get it running on your time, even though you had nothing to do with it.  Maybe you're generous enough to do this, but it seriously hard to maintain a business in this fashion.

If you want to email me directly from the website, you can and I am prepared to spend 1/2 hour looking at your problem and advising you on how to fix it, not because I care whether or not you drop this like a rock, but I feel for your situation and it would not take long to ascertain what you need to do. I'm not here to fix it, but I can tell you what you need to do to get yourself out of the pickle you're in.

But I'd be talking to 'the web guy' first.

Good luck and .. you'll find this rock is painted pretty much the same colour as rocks in other places.

All of the posts here are volunteer efforts of people trying to help you out.   As it is volunteer the quality of support will be variable as people try and guess what your problem is.  You can help this process by supplying as much information as possible and answering the questions asked as best you can, even if that means asking other people for the answers, like whoever setup or hosts your site.

DNN Corp is correct in that you need to purchase their Pro version to get their support.  As Nina pointed out, you probably didn't purchase your site from DNN Corp, you probably purchased it through someone else who set it up for you.   The community version of the DotNetNuke framework is free and support via these forums is free from volunteer efforts of people like Nina and myself.
