When customers try to check out they get the same error report. It's killing me ! I have talked incessantly to Pay Pal and they finally acknowledged the problem, but have not said when they will fix it. Just keep e-mailing and calling their  tech people. The best # that I have to use is 800 852-1973

Have paypal acknowledged that the fault is on their side?

They just told me that the storemodule is sending a lot of faulty parameters and that is why it isnt working - BUUT it worket flawlessly until the weekend.

more info on my thread here http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/114/threadid/360906/scope/posts/Default.aspx

It is not a matter of 'faulty parameters', but 'extra parameters'. They used to accept these extra parameters (that they do not need but are not faulty at all!) - and all sudenly,  for some unknown reason, these parameters cause internal errors on their faulty servers. Gilles has been working hard on this lately and you can expect a patch soon.

Hi

I am getting the same issues with a number of sites using Gumbosoft's Paypal Shopping Cart and Buttons. Paypal simply say its Gumbosoft's problem.

Unfortunately, Gumbosoft have not replied to any of my emails for over a week now. Very poor support at an urgent time. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks

Tony

Personally I am getting very tired of paypal. I never liked that they are trying to fool the customers into using paypal account instead of creditcard. That small "continue" and Visa/master sign is not enough - customers gets very confused.

There is also some kind of problem all the time with displaying it in Swedish even though the modules sends country info to Paypal. - trublesome

This situation shows another type of lack of professionalism on paypals behalft as well - you cannot change stuff in production environment and on top of that just deny the problem.

It would be interesting with an alternative to paypal if anyone knows one that is cost effective and easy for Giles and the others to implement. The easy to implement is an important part of course.
