Hello.........just a couple of questions.....

1)  When will the new version be released?

2)  Will the new version support digital sales / downloads / subscriptions and put users in that role once paid?

3)  Does the module send any email order confrimation / receipt information to the customer?  Or is that handled by PayPal, etc.?

4)  Can you sell products in more than one currency?

5)  Any idea for digital downloads:  Will the module ever be able to allow user to buy credits, which would be deducted when they download something?   Credit values could be assigned to each product and then be deducted from the users running total, which would be retained the next time they login.  This is good for digital downloads, as PayPal takes their minimum amount for each small order.  If you could make the user buy credits, i.e. $25, then the percentage of your profit being taken from PayPal drops, compared to selling one download for $3.00.

I currently purchased Catalook and it is just clunky and a pain to setup.  I like what you are doing here and I like the ease of use and how clean everything is.  Keep up the good work!

Regards,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Thanks for showing interest in the project.  Here are the answers to your questions:

1) It is in Final test now.  Assuming no show stoppers are found we plan to release it late this week/early next week.

2) No to all three in this version.  Auto downloads are scheduled in future leases, but not in the next one.

3) Yes, it does send emails to the customer and admin

4) The store is localizable, but if you are asking about currency exchange that would have to be handled by the selected gateway/credit card company

5) This is an interesting future enhancement request.  I will make a note, but no promise when/if it will make it into the project

Hello Robert

I pursue the development of the Store-Module since the Beta Version. I hope, the feature STO-2443 (Payment gateway for bills) finds the way in Release 1. I'm looking for a full store module, but the store want to send bills to his customers.

Thank you for your and your team's (I hope for you, you've got one!) fine work!

greetings

the bimper
