Hi,

I've installed the website template for use with VS2008 and installed with no problems on my Vista Business machine. I'm running the site through VS2008's built in web server, and the standard homepage comes up fine. The problem comes when I try to click on 'login' or 'register' and it throws a server error 'The resource cannot be found'.

The browser url is: http://localhost/dotnetnuketest/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fDotNetNukeTest%2fdefault.aspx%3f  and yet the error shown on the page is:

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /dotnetnuketest/Login.aspx

Can anyone please help?

Use the Install version and install for IIS.

Sorry, what do you mean by install to IIS?  Can I not develop using the built in webserver?

I intend creating my own c# modules as separate projects within the solution but want to be running everything through VS.

Ok i've got it working now using the full source code version and running through VS2008. Deleted the web.config and renamed the release.config

Cheers
