I have added this to the support.dotnetnuke.com site as a feature request, but I wanted to bring it up here as well.  I am asking for an Upcoming events sister module that could be put on a homepage to show the upcoming events on the main events calendar.  It should have the ability to custom sort the info, choose how many events to display, etc.

Right now the only way I know is to use the newsfeed module to display the events rss feed.  The issue there is that it shows them in the wrong order (decending).  I guess if someone could help me flip that it would be good in the interim, but a dedicated module would be better since it would immediatly see updates to the events instead of only when the newsfeed cache time expires and downloads the updated RSS feed.

You could use the Reports module, which is what I do for my Forum latest posts. You are then only limited by what you can retrieve with SQL and format using the capabilities of the module.

Cheers
Roger
