Hi

I need to do some functional customization for Store Catalog module, i.e, want to change the way of product display and adding some more fields to the Store Catalog page.

Ex: I need products to be displayed inside a drop down list and let the user to select the price. and adding some extra information to the cart related with product selection.

this has to be carried out through source code or ascx file,

I went thru module source, there I didnt find any thing to made the changes, seems cant be changed.

Can you please help me to sort out this issue or guide me to a good dnn shopping cart module, where I can resolve my problem

Regards

Ahamed

Hi Ahamed,

To change how products are displayed, you have to read the templating guide available at Codeplex. Concerning changes in the module, please read the second post in this forum to install correctly the source version (use the last version 02.01.28). You have to know than the Store module is not a 'simple' one! The solution contains 21 projects and require a strong knowledge in ASP.NET and C#,  because it use several advanced concepts like dynamic loading of controls and dynamic building of content. If you are not familar with those concepts and/or if you do not have time, you should use another module. Look at the Forge and at Snowcovered  to find other Store like modules.

After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
