This "simple checkout" is wanted very much and will be a great feature for this wonderfull module!

Looking forward to the release.

How far away ia a release of this updated module?

There are 4 gateway providers in the next release.

authorize.net   
paypal 
purchase order (requires entering a field before checkout)
email (allows checkout, sends email to customer and store)

The final contributions for this release are being implemented as we speak (so to speak).

YES.... please... this is very important if the store module is going to have value. A store is not important if you can't bring traffic to it..... This is HIGH on my wish list.....

OK, which release do you mean. I've installed version 01.00.01, and in this version only authorize.net and Paypal are available. Is the release you mention yet to com? Do you know a release date?
