This is likely to be caused by you having the admin set up as one language (en-US? mm/dd/yy) and the user setup as another (en-GB dd/mm/yy) with different date formats. The current selected date is stored in a cookie for a period of time, and if you swap between users it may get handled incorrectly due to a bug in 5.0.2. We have improved the logic around the dates stored in the cookie in 5.0.3, so it should be fixed there.

Other than that, I would recommend you don't swap between users with different date formats until you have 5.0.3 installed.

Just for future reference, you don't need to delete the users, their preferred locale is modifyable in their user profile.
