I've created a new role - Power Editor and basically give it editing rights on all pages except the Admin and Host pages. When I log in as a Power Editor I can see the dropdown list for selecting a new module to add to a page, but nothing is in the dropdown. When I'm logged in as the admin it shows me them all. Is there any way for me to give this role the permissions to add the modules without giving them an Administrator account?

I have not checked this functionality recently.

But traditionally Only admin should see the module list to add to the page

The admin can add necessary modules to the page so the role can have edit control.

I believe what your looking for is: (when logged in as admin)

  Admin > Extensions

Edit desired extension (say banners)

Check appropriate boxes under

Desktop Module Permissions:

This info is for my DNN 5.1.4 install.  YMMV :)
